Alma Farnham: Looks Like We Made It

Sometimes, after all those years of graft, dying on stage, crying into your beer, hours of endless travel, playing for free, paying to play etc there comes along a gig, so magnificent, so devastatingly perfect that it all, for a moment, seems to have been worth it.

The Alma on Sunday was just such a gig.

Six amazing comedians, a lovely country pub and 2, yes 2, paying customers!

Was it the post olympic blues? The Notting Hill Carnival? The Bank holiday weekend? Perhaps we'll never know.

But we're professionals. We all got paid and the show, as they say, must go on. So huge thanks to the highly professional sets of all who performed and not a complaint in sight. Gawd I love you guys.
